Aims plans automotive classroom in Windsor

Aims Community College has announced plans to build an automotive technology classroom building in south Windsor.

Aims officials announced plans earlier in the week to build a 35,000-square-foot building on a seven-acre parcel of land it recently purchased from Water Valley Land Company.

The parcel, which cost $920,000, will be located in the Iron Mountain Automotive complex on the northwest corner of U.S. Highway 34 on Weld County Road 17 (7th Street).

This will be the first Aims campus facility in Windsor although the school did offer English and history classes at the Windsor Community Recreation Center in the past.
