The Colorado Eagles are a member of the Central Hockey League and play at the Budweiser Events
Center in Loveland, Colorado. Founded in 2002 by hockey legend Ralph Backstrom (six Stanley Cup
championships, NHL Rookie of the Year, NCAA Coach of the Year with the University of Denver
Pioneers), the Eagles have quickly established an incredible tradition of success on and off
the ice.
The Colorado Eagles won the CHL’s President’s Cup as league champions in two of their first four
seasons (2005 & 2007) and set a North American minor pro hockey record for consecutive sellouts in
early 2008, having sold out every single game in their existence. The Eagles corporate office is
located in Water Valley, Northern Colorado’s premier master-planned community, designed by the
team’s C.E.O., Martin Lind.
